Description

Bundle Builder Oak Finger Joint Handrail and Baserail set Grooved for Metal Spindles.

Finger joints are a woodwork technique used to combine short wooden pieces into longer ones. These joints feature interlocking wooden ‘fingers’ held together by adhesive, resulting in higher-quality and more efficient components. This method reduces material waste, making it particularly valuable as raw material costs increase. Finger-jointed lumber offers advantages like straightness and dimensional stability but may exhibit visible colour differences in oak.
This Oak Finger Joint Cottage Handrail is designed with a 13mm groove for metal spindles.
The handrail is untreated and comes with an infill/spacer that is pre-packed with it.

Handrail Size: 65mm x 40mm

The groove for metal spindles is 13mm x 25mm.

This Oak Finger Joint Baserail is grooved for metal spindles and remains untreated.

It features a 13mm spindle groove, and the infill/spacer comes pre-packed with the Baserail for easy installation.

Baserail Size: 58mm (W) x 28mm (H)

The groove for metal spindles is 13mm x 20mm

Oak stair parts come unfinished. They can be finished by varnishing or waxing.
