How long does delivery take?

Do you stock your items?
Yes, we have 3 large warehouses and we stock and produce most of our items
Can I pay over the phone?
No, we do not take any payments over the phone, you can pay using a range of payment methods via our website or by bank transfer.
Do you offer any discounts for traders?
Yes, you can open a trade account through our website, once your account is open you will receive a 5% discount off all of your orders. You may also be eligible for a Trader Pro status and receive up to 15% discount. Become a member of our Trader Loyalty Club.
Can you supply bespoke items?

Do you offer a fitting service?
No, FIXIMER doesn’t offer a fitting service. However, we do know of many joiners and carpenters that are experts at staircase renovations and we may be able to provide you with contact details if they work in your area. Do you supply glass panels of any other thickness?
No, we only stock and supply bevelled edge, toughened glass of 8mm thickness and 300mm wide.
What is the maximum gap I can have between spindles?
Building regulations stipulate that the gap between spindles can be no bigger than 100mm.
How do I protect my oak?
To ensure that your oak timber elements are installed properly, it’s important to store them in a dry place and pre-finish them immediately to prevent moisture absorption. It’s recommended to pre-finish the oak elements before installation to avoid excessive changes in moisture content, which can cause shrinkage, swelling, splits, bowing, and distortion. When applying the finish, pay close attention to sealing the timber end grain and making sure it’s applied all around. Additionally, apply at least one coat of finish to the reverse of the product (if applicable) to prevent warping. Use appropriate adhesives depending on the type of finish applied. FIXIMER offers a variety of adhesives, wood stains, oils, and lacquers to protect and enhance the appearance of wood.
Can I open a Trade credit account?
