Bundle Builder Oak Finger Joint Glass Grooved Handrail and Baserail.

Finger joints are a woodwork technique used to combine short wooden pieces into longer ones. These joints feature interlocking wooden ‘fingers’ held together by adhesive, resulting in higher-quality and more efficient components. This method reduces material waste, making it particularly valuable as raw material costs increase. Finger-jointed lumber offers advantages like straightness and dimensional stability but may exhibit visible colour differences in oak.

The Oak Finger Joint Cottage Handrail is untreated with grooves for glass.

The infill/spacer comes pre-packed in with the handrail.

This handrail has a groove, which allows 8mm toughened glass to be fitted.

Glass can be secured in place using clear silicone.

Handrail Size: 65mm x 40mm

The groove for the glass is 9mm x 25mm.

Oak Finger Joint Glass Grooved Base Rail has a groove, which allows 8mm toughened glass to be fitted.

Timber infill is supplied with the base rail.

Base rail Size: 58mm (W) x 28mm (H). The groove for the glass is 9mm x 15mm.

This base rail has a groove, which allows 8mm toughened glass to be fitted.

Glass can be secured in place using clear silicone.

Oak stair parts come unfinished. They can be finished by varnishing or wa
