Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Picker Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are picked and packed accurately and efficiently for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and the ability to handle materials safely while adhering to company standards.

Duties

• Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all items meet company standards before packing.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely for loading and unloading goods.
• Utilise the warehouse management system to track inventory and manage shipments effectively.
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used, especially when dealing with heavy items.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve packing processes and efficiency.
• Occasional delivery services

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and materials handling.
• Ability to operate forklifts; certification is an advantage but not mandatory as training may be provided.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Full clean UK driving licence
