Staircase Renovations Doncaster
While creating good first impressions is so important on so many levels in our life’s – our staircase is usually the first thing people see walking through the front door and therefore creates the first impression of our homes.
Staircase replacement could be a big job, interfering with the construction of the walls, ceilings, flooring etc, therefore we came up with a new solution – Transformation of the Existing Staircase.
Staircase renovation is an innovative and affordable way of transforming your stairs into modern eye-catching focal point of your home.
So How Is It Done?
To start with we remove the old paint and apply adhesive as well as extra screws to make the existing staircase stronger and squeak free.
Then elements such as stringers, newel posts get cladded with natural 3 mm oak veneer. It’s wood grain adds a special ambiance to the house with it’s unique pattern running through each piece of the staircase.
Next step is to fit banister. It’s important to choose the right type of balustrade as often it turns out to be the main feature of the staircase.
Once banister is fitted we move onto steps which can be cladded with solid oak treads and risers or carpeted. Wooden stairs are extremely durable and would last for several years.
Finally, when the staircase is fully revamped majority of our customers realise that oak flooring, skirting boards, architraves and window sills would look lovely and uniform with the new staircase… And of course, we can also help with these.
Being the manufacturer of all of our oak components, we have the luxury of allowing our customers to choose out of 25 colours of wood stain and then produce colour matched flooring, skirting boards, architraves, window sills or even mirror frames.
To top it all up, we offer our own very unique LED lighting system! Our LED lights are grooved into treads giving the final touch and creating a definite WOW FACTOR!
Our LED lights are operated by two separate sensors, which work during day as well as night time. The lights switch on as you approach the staircase and switch off automatically when you step off.
An eye-catching feature with a timeless design that will add real value to your home.
